Offer Terms.

By submitting a request, each requester agrees to these Free Book Offer Terms.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. This is a limited, first-come promotional gift offer—not a contest, draw or game of chance. No skill-testing question is required.

1. Sponsors

The Gritty Investor Fall Book Giveaway (the “Offer”) is provided and administered by authors Genevieve Roch-Decter and Michael B. Decter (collectively, the “Offerors”). The Offer is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Typeform, Beehiiv, Amazon, Harriman House, Pan Macmillan, LDIC Inc., or any social-media platform on which it may be promoted.

2. Offer Period

The Offer begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 15, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on November 13, 2026, unless the applicable geographic allocation is exhausted earlier (the “Offer Period”). The Offerors’ designated systems are the official time-keeping devices.

3. Eligibility

The Offer is available to (a) legal residents of Canada’s 10 provinces and three territories who are 19 years of age or older at the time of request and (b) legal residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of request. Residents of U.S. territories are not eligible. Employees, representatives, agents and members of the immediate household of the Offerors or anyone involved in administering the Offer are not eligible. The Offer is void where prohibited by law.

4. How to Request a Copy

During the Offer Period, visit the Offer page, complete all required fields in the official request form and submit it as directed. Copies are allocated according to Section 6 based on the timestamp recorded by the Offerors’ designated systems. Limit one request per person, household and email address. Automated, fraudulent or otherwise abusive submissions are void. No purchase is required.

Requesters must provide accurate contact and mailing information for an eligible Canadian or U.S. address. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt or confirmation. Incomplete, late, misdirected, fraudulent or otherwise non-compliant requests may be rejected.

5. Complimentary Books

There are 200 complimentary copies available: 100 allocated to Canada and 100 allocated to the United States. Each copy of The Gritty Investor has an approximate retail value of CAD $38.00, for an aggregate approximate retail value of CAD $7,600.00. Standard shipping to one eligible Canadian or U.S. address is included.

Copies have no cash value, are non-transferable and may not be substituted, except that the Offerors may provide an item of equal or greater value if the stated book is unavailable. Any difference between approximate and actual value will not be provided.

6. First-Come Fulfillment

Canada: One hundred copies will be allocated as closely as practicable among Canada’s 10 provinces and three territories based on each jurisdiction’s share of Canada’s population, using the latest Statistics Canada population estimates available when the Offer opens. At least one copy will be reserved for each province and territory, with remaining copies rounded and adjusted to produce a total allocation of 100. Within each jurisdiction, eligible requests will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.

United States: One hundred copies will be available to eligible residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia on a first-come, first-served basis nationwide.

Submission order is based on the timestamp recorded by the Offerors’ designated systems. No random draw, winner selection or skill-testing question will be used. Once an applicable allocation is exhausted, later requests for that allocation will not receive a copy.

7. Recipient Confirmation

Potential recipients will be contacted using the email address provided. To receive a copy, a requester must, within the time stated in the notification:

  • respond to the notification;
  • confirm continued compliance with these Rules and eligibility requirements; and
  • complete any confirmation or delivery documentation reasonably requested by the Offerors.

If a requester cannot be contacted, fails to respond by the stated deadline, declines the book or is otherwise ineligible, the request will be rejected and the next eligible requester in timestamp order may receive the available copy.

8. Book Delivery

Confirmed recipients should allow a reasonable period for delivery following publication and availability of the book. The Offerors are not responsible for delivery delays outside their reasonable control. A copy returned as undeliverable may be forfeited.

9. Personal Information and Marketing Consent

Personal information collected through the request form will be used to administer the Offer, verify eligibility, confirm submission order, contact requesters, deliver copies, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. The Offerors may use service providers, including Typeform, to process this information on their behalf. Information will be protected using reasonable safeguards and retained only as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes or as required by law.

The optional marketing checkbox is separate from the book request. A requester does not need to consent to marketing to request or receive a copy. If a requester actively selects the optional checkbox, the requester consents to receive investing insights, book updates and promotional electronic messages from THE GRITTY INVESTOR BOOK and may unsubscribe at any time. Request information will not be added to the marketing list without this separate express consent.

10. Publicity

The Offerors will not publish a recipient’s name, likeness or testimonial without separate permission where required by law.

11. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, requesters release and hold harmless the Offerors and their respective representatives, service providers and agents from claims arising from participation in the Offer or acceptance, possession or use of a complimentary book, except for liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The Offerors are not responsible for technical failures, interrupted communications, unauthorized intervention, lost or delayed requests, inaccurate information or events beyond their reasonable control.

12. General Conditions

The Offerors reserve the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, extend or modify the Offer if fraud, technical failure, human error or another event impairs its integrity or proper administration. The Offerors may reject any request that tampers with the submission process, is abusive or violates these Terms.

If there is a discrepancy between Offer advertising and these Terms, these Terms govern. The Offerors’ decisions are final on all Offer matters, subject to applicable law.

13. Governing Law

The Offer and these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without affecting any mandatory rights available under the laws of a requester’s province, state or country of residence.

14. Questions

Questions about the Offer may be submitted through the official book website.

Important: These Terms are a practical promotional-offer framework and should be reviewed by qualified Canadian and U.S. legal counsel before the Offer is promoted publicly, particularly for Quebec French-language compliance, U.S. state requirements and privacy practices.
